Vitinha, tragic announcement: 3- and 5-year-old cousins dead

Tragic news for Vitinha, who was in shock over the death of two little cousins, just 3 and 5 years old, victims of the explosion in Trévoux, a French town in the Ain department.
According to reconstructions, the incident was caused by the extreme gesture of a tenant of the building, who opened the gas valves of her apartment. However, the ensuing explosion also had devastating consequences for the surrounding dwellings: in addition to the death of the two children, twelve other people were injured.
Telling of the grief experienced by the family was the Genoa player himself, who entrusted a story on Instagram with his message of condolence: “My family is in mourning. My cousin Bruno lost his children in a tragedy in France. Anyone who wants to help, I’ll leave a link here,” accompanying the words to a fundraiser.
The Rossoblù striker continued to train regularly at the Pegli sports center, preparing for next Sunday’s match against Atalanta.
