Milan market, strong return on Juventus’ champion in summer

Now it is done: there are the last details to be settled but in all likelihood Niclas Füllkrug will be a new AC Milan player. The German center forward will land at the Rossoneri on a loan deal with a right of redemption set at around 15 million euros. West Ham would have preferred the buy-back obligation, but the player’s willingness to move to Italy convinced the English club to meet the demands of Igli Tare and Giorgio Furlani. Massimiliano Allegri, therefore, will have a new center forward at his disposal but the strategy to fix the attack is not finished.
The real target of the Rossoneri club is Dusan Vlahovic: Igli Tare tried to sign him as early as last summer but Juventus stonewalled, convinced that the issue of his expiring contract could be resolved. So, at least so far, it hasn’t been and Milan doesn’t want to miss the opportunity to buy the Serbian bomber, who has always been Massimiliano Allegri’s favorite, for free next summer. The purchase of Niclas Füllkrug will be very useful for Milan to plug the striker problem but in a few months there will be the real revolution in the offensive department of the Diavolo.
In recent weeks Igli Tare contacted Pini Zahavi, Robert Lewandowski’s attorney, to understand the feasibility of transferring the experienced Polish center forward to Italy at the end of the season. The Barcelona bomber has an expiring contract and is determined to try a new experience: AC Milan is following him closely, but in recent days the Chicago Fire, which has already initiated the first contacts with Lewandowski’s entourage, has also come forward. The Polish striker is also in demand in Saudi Arabia but the’hypothesis does not excite him despite the rich contracts the sheikhs could offer him.
In the meantime, Milan will also have to solve the Mike Maignan rebus: the very strong goalkeeper is expiring his contract and the risk of losing him at zero is concrete. Months ago Giorgio Furlani had a meeting with the Frenchman’s entourage but the huge gap between supply and demand has stalled renewal negotiations.
The Rossoneri are hoping to convince Mike Maignan to stay in Milan but in the meantime they are looking around: they really like Elia Caprile, who is doing very well at Cagliari, then there is also the name of Bento on the Rossoneri club’s notebook. The Brazilian goalkeeper, currently with Al Nassr, would hardly refuse a call from Milan.
