“Reality has overwhelmed us and exceeded all expectations”. With these words Claudio Domenicali, CEO of Ducati Corse, introduced the celebrations of Ducati in Festa, an event held in Bologna on Friday: an occasion not only to extend happy holiday wishes to fans and insiders, but also and above all to look back on a 2025 year once again full of satisfactions for the Borgo Panigale company, which confirmed its absolute leadership in the MotoGp World Championship, in which it reaffirmed its superiority in both the Riders and Manufacturers standings.

“To find ourselves here today, as a small- to medium-sized Italian company, celebrating our sixth consecutive MotoGp Constructors’ title and our fourth Riders’ title in a row is something that I think deserves a huge round of applause for Gigi Dall’Igna, for all the guys in the racing department and for all the people who made this extraordinary result possible,– Domenicali added. This gives me the cue to reflect on a theme that is truly significant for us: Ducati is, I believe, the only company capable of bringing together an extraordinary past, a tradition marked by motorcycles that have marked the history of motorcycling, icons that remain in the minds, dreams and hearts of fans, from the 916 to the Monster, to the Panigale, with a present built on incredible products”.

“Racing allows us to develop so much innovation, and this innovation we transfer directly into our products – the Borgo Panigale-based Rossa executive explained further. We have an extraordinarily new, modern and competitive range. We have the beauty of our motorcycles, a value recognized all over the world. And we have a series of sporting successes that speak for themselves. If you put all this together, you see that it is something unique in the world. There are companies that are going strong in racing but do not have such an up-to-date range; others that have a modern range but do not compete; still others that are now entering the market with great dynamism, but without a history behind them. Ducati, on the other hand, has everything: a great past, a very strong present and a future that we can build with pride”.

Look, then, to 2026, the year of the centenary: “This pride must be shared with everyone: with the guys in the racing department, of course, but also with all the people who have helped develop a range of which we are all particularly proud. On this solidity we face 2026, a year that will be the most important in history because we will celebrate our 100th anniversary. Getting to this milestone is something huge, we want to do it without nostalgia, without that dust that sometimes settles on important stories”.

“Our history is not a museum: it is a trampoline. As someone much better than me used to say, ‘You climb on the shoulders of giants to see farther’. And we climb on the shoulders of our tradition to project ourselves into a future that will hopefully bring us another hundred years of Ducati” Domenicali concluded.
