Juventus coach Luciano Spalletti spoke after the win against Roma: “I’m happy because winning these games here are half-assed, they are well on the pitch and have the pace that crushes you if you are not good at restarting and keeping the ball. In the first half they forced us to throw away a lot of run in the defensive phase, when you throw away stuff like that you then lack oxygen for the restarts. We were timid, however we were in the game and the team had its own solidity”.

“In the second half there was a different approach, a wanting to go and make our qualities count, and in my opinion we won even deservedly”.

“It is clear that we need to raise the level of continuity because there are a lot of second balls, interpretations and readings… In these things here sometimes we switch off, but to win games like this is like making a double jump”.

On Yildiz: “His opponents know more than he does how strong he is, he doesn”.
