Numia Vero Volley Milan within the home walls of the Allianz Cloud won with a score of 3-0 (25-17; 25-15; 25-15) over Reale Mutua Fenera Chieri ’76. Egonu and her teammates expressed their best volleyball in the face of a Chieri team that instead failed to replicate the result of the’first leg. A success that gives confidence to Lavarini’s lineup, which, in addition to winning the full spoils, recovers ground in the standings (touching 34 points) and overtakes Chieri itself by moving up to fourth place.

Top scorer and MVP of the match captain Paola Egonu, scoring 21 points, sum of 14 winning attacks, 5 walls and 2 aces. Excellent performance also for Piva and Lanier, scoring 11 and 12 points respectively. A positive Németh – the only one in double figures in the guest ranks – who put 17 balls on the floor, was not enough for the Piedmontese.

Francesca Bosio, setter Numia Vero Volley Milano, said she was very satisfied after the match: “I am very happy and proud of the whole group. It was a complicated week, today we needed to take the court with personality: we know we can be a team of this level, tonight everything worked, starting with the attitude. This match represents a starting point for us: we enjoy the victory and from tomorrow head to Vallefoglia”.
