Juventus, injury emergency again: conditions of Rugani, McKennie and Conceiçao

Another injury emergency for Juventus, which after getting Gleison Bremer back loses Daniele Rugani, who was injured during the game against Roma, for several weeks. The Bianconeri center-back, who had just returned with the Giallorossi after stopping in November with a soleus problem, will not be available to Luciano Spalletti for at least six weeks. Rugani will be forced to miss at least league matches against Pisa, Lecce, Sassuolo, Cremonese, Cagliari and Napoli, while in the Champions League he will not be present for matches against Benfica and Monaco.
“Daniele Rugani, following the muscle problem suffered during the Juventus-Roma match, underwent diagnostic tests this morning at J Medical. The examinations showed a medium-degree injury to the medial twin of the right leg. A new check-up will be carried out in 10 days to precisely define the recovery time” is the statement released by the Juventus club on Sunday. Spalletti also risks losing Francisco Conceiçao and Weston McKennie for the next round against Pisa.
“Francisco Conceição and Weston McKennie also underwent instrumental examinations that ruled out muscular injuries. Their condition will be monitored daily” is the note from the Bianconeri club. Juventus beat Roma 2-1 thanks to goals from Conceiçao and Openda. Spalletti spoke of a half feat and a leap forward: “I am happy because winning these games are half feats, because they are well on the pitch, they have the pace of the one that crumbles you, crushes you if you are not good sometimes to keep the ball, if you are not good sometimes to restart”.
“All games are all difficult. But it is clear that winning by learning things, learning from teams in front that also show you things, then going for the win becomes a double leap of knowledge and other things. It”s the victories that instill confidence in you, that then give you the knowledge that you can play on a level playing field with others”.
