Napoli, Conte vents: "It’s my most difficult season, you don’t understand me"

Napoli coach Antonio Conte in a press conference on the eve of the Italian Super Cup final against Bologna spoke about the difficulties the Azzurri are facing this season: “Last year we had only done the championship, we put in nine players, it would have been a complex situation. It is not an easy transplant. I knew this season would be complex, one of my most complex. I talk, but sometimes it seems like you don”t understand me.
“In the championship we are where we should be. We came to play for the first trophy and made it to the final. We have a chance to bring a trophy to the trophy case. In the other competitions there’s a chance to move forward. So many people forget that we have had serious injuries of important players. When they are out in five, six for three, four months this has a major impact”. Conte, in his ninth final in his coaching career, warned his people: “Nice to get to the final, but then you only remember who won”.
Conte complimented Bologna coach Italiano: “Italiano has made a gavetta like me. He always wants to learn and improve. I can only speak well of him. We coaches cannot think of stopping. He has passion. Having passion helps make our knowledge better. He is one of those coaches who has hunger, passion and the will to get there. Congratulations to him, he has worked well everywhere”.
.
In the press conference there was also Politano who presented the match this way: “Matches like these prepare themselves. Since the defeat in Bologna there’s been a turning point, we talked to each other clearly, we said we had to change something and we did it. We can play with so many forms, we have so many players who can interpret them. I have played so many games, being out a few games is not a problem. We play every three days there’s always a need for everyone, to be one hundred percent”.
“We are a group, strong, united. We have always helped each other on and off the field. We are not a very young group, but we have a lot of experience that we try to pass on to the youngsters and newcomers. We are strong on and off the field”.
