Milan market: it’s Fullkrug’s day but work is already underway on another shot

The wait is over. A.C. Milan is about to embrace its new number 9. Coach Allegri will soon have at his disposal (barring any last-minute unforeseen circumstances) German striker Fullkrug, who will go on to fill out the Diavolo’s offensive department, currently orphaned of a true pure center forward after Gimenez’s injury. The white smoke is expected later today, as the details of the’operation now seem to be finalized even in the smallest details. Having Fullkrug quickly was the’primary goal of Tare, Milan’s market man.

According to reports in the Gazzetta dello Sport, West Ham has reportedly given the’okay to the Teutonic striker&#8217s departure on a loan with right of redemption basis. The player is expected to pocket 1.3 million euros between now and the end of the season. To redeem him, Milan will have to shell out an amount around 13 million euros. Obviously, these are rumors. What the Rossoneri club cares about is to have him at Milanello as soon as possible and thus start educating him on what it means to be the 9 at Milan.

Also because, at this point, Tare will focus on something else, namely finding a central defender who can make an important contribution to the Rossoneri’s cause. A quality player is needed who can become a viable alternative to the current starters, especially in case of injuries. In pole position by now would be Disasi. The French center-back is unable to get space at Chelsea and is ready to pack his bags to get involved elsewhere. Milan is considering several aspects before trying to close the deal but the feeling is that Disasi is the right profile.

With these two new reinforcements, it is clear that Rossoneri coach Allegri will have more resources in a squad that, especially lately, has seemed a bit’short. It will clearly take time to get the new faces in, but at least, at the very least, Milan will have some more important alternatives to exploit.

It remains to be seen whether, in the face of these more than likely two new arrivals, the Rossoneri will decide to give up some of the squad, perhaps someone who is struggling to find minutes or who is not fully convincing. De Winter’s name has also been mentioned, although there is no confirmation of this.
