Milan market, two strikes for shaky defense

The downturn of Massimiliano Allegri’s Milan is evident to all: after a great start to the season, the Rossoneri had a few too many setbacks (especially with newly promoted teams) and lost the lead in the standings to their cousins from Inter’s team. The team was also eliminated from the Italian Super Cup at the hands of Antonio Conte’s Napoli, which won 2-0 in the semifinals with goals from David Neres and Rasmus Hojlund. Worrying the fans (and Massimiliano Allegri) most of all is the defense.
In the last 3 matches played, the Diavolo has conceded 6 goals: 2 against Torino (Vlasic on penalty and Zapata), 2 against Sassuolo (Koné and Laurentié) and 2 against Napoli (Neres and Hojlund). To fix things, Igli Tare and Giorgio Furlani are working on the Axel Disasi front, on the fringes of Chelsea’s plans. The champion has already asked his entourage to find him an alternative arrangement and the Milan hypothesis is definitely attractive even if the Blues would have to accept a free loan with part of the wages paid by them.
Bred in the ranks of Paris FC, the 1998-born defender played for Stade Reims and Monaco before moving to Chelsea in the summer of 2023 for 45 million euros. Axel Disasi failed to settle in with the Blues and in February 2025 Aston Villa paid €6 million to have him on loan until June, then the Frenchman returned to Chelsea. Now he is ready to say goodbye again to Enzo Maresca’s team: he wants to play with continuity but there is no room for him in the Blues and he is insisting with his entourage to make a change.
As for the upcoming summer soccer session, AC Milan has its headlights on Niklas Süle, who is leaving Borussia Dortmund. The rocky German defender’s contract is expiring and the yellow-and-white club has already decided that it will not be renewed: the center-back will therefore be free to change sides for free.
In recent times he has had a few too many injuries, but Niklas Süle remains an excellent opportunity on a zero-parameter basis, and Fenerbahce is also closely monitoring the development of things. Far more defiladed is the Arab hypothesis: the sheikhs have sounded the ground but Süle does not seem willing to consider the Saudi Arabia option.
