Milan-Conegliano, countdown to big match

Countdown to the big match for Numia Vero Volley Milan and Prosecco Doc A. Carraro Imoco Conegliano. On Saturday, Dec. 27, at 6 p.m., Coach Lavarini’s girls will be expected to face a challenge of the highest technical level at the Allianz Cloud against the champions of Italy.
This is the third confrontation of the season between the two formations, with the balance in perfect parity: one win on each side. The last crossroads dates back to Nov. 5, 2025, when in the first leg match the Panthers prevailed 3-1. Against Conegliano, Milan will therefore have the opportunity to react after the opaque test that cost them the defeat on the Vallefoglia court, with the goal of regaining continuity and quality of play.
In front there will be a team in great confidence: the formation coached by Daniele Santarelli, still undefeated, arrives in fact to the big match strong of the three points won with the clear success against the tail-end San Giovanni in Marignano. For the Rosablùs, the challenge represents a key passage of the season: a victory would give morale boost and precious points to climb the standings and stay hooked to the top positions.
The match will field numerous intertwined former and world champions. There will be six former players in the challenge (five in Numia Vero Volley and one in Imoco), just as there are six female rainbow champions on the taraflex: Danesi, Sartori, Egonu and Fersino for Milan, Fahr and De Gennaro for Conegliano. A mix of talent and experience ready to light up the atmosphere of the Allianz Cloud with volleyball of the highest level.
