Africa Cup of Nations 2025: Morocco-Mali, the likely lineups

The second day of Group A of the African Cup of Nations closes with the challenge between Morocco and Mali. Kickoff is scheduled for 9 p.m. at Prince Moulay Abdallah in Rabat. Morocco comes to the fixture on the strength of a 2-0 success over Comoros, while Mali stopped at a draw against Zambia.

Brahim and El Kaabi will be confirmed from the first minute. To complete the offensive trident, the ballot between Saibari and Ezzalzouli remains open. In defense, Mazraoui is moving toward a new starting shirt, pending Hakimi’s full recovery.

In Mali, El Bilal Touré will still be the central reference in the attack, flanked by Nene and Sinayoko. From the infirmary, however, comes less than encouraging news: Bissouma has failed to recover from ankle problems and will be forced to forfeit.
