Florentin soccer market: Amir Richardson pays for his sincerity and exits Paolo Vanoli’s possible choices. A Moroccan national born in 2002, the midfielder had recently spoken out about his desire to leave the Viola as soon as possible (possibly as early as January). The only result, for the moment, was to be excluded from the list of summoned players ahead of the Gigliati’s away match scheduled for 12:30 p.m. Saturday in Parma. A crossroads in full swing to try to give body to the’goal of salvation, after the round success on the’Udinese.

"I was in the Pistoiese ask for damages d'image!" (Leonardo)
"Poor Ranieri how will he fall asleep tonight" (Maximus)

"But to avoid this heartbreak, can’t we already demote it now?" (Andrea)

"Chiavari is a nice little town, and they make pesto very well" (David)

Vanoli, who will also have to do without Fazzini, Sabiri, Lamptey and Pablo Marì due to injury, as well as Ranieri due to disqualification, deliberately decided to present Fiorentina in Parma without Richardson. The official explanation: technical choice. But the real reason is the management’s annoyance with the words the Nice-born midfielder himself granted to ‘L’Equipe’ in an interview where ample space was given to his desire to undress the purple jersey as soon as possible.

“Off the field I have experienced difficult moments, from the footballing point of view, on the other hand, I had seemed to have done well in recent months– Richardson had said on the occasion.

– Pioli, the former Fiorentina coach, assured me that he was counting on me. The club also did not want me to leave, but then I played very well. I admit I did not understand my situation well, it seems to me that in their eyes I am no longer the same player. So, at this point, I would rather leave during this’winter”.

That of Richardson (who has already admitted to dreaming of a move to his hometown team Nice, of all places), however, is not the only outgoing profile for Fiorentina in January. One of the players who could make a change of scenery is one of the locker room leaders, who, however, ended up at the center of a’bitter controversy with the fans: Edin Dzeko.

The Bosnian (who is especially coveted by Genoa and Cagliari) is, moreover, not the first in a list of possible departures meanwhile enriched by Richardson. Before Dzeko, in fact, there had been diffuse rumors about possible farewells of none other than Moise Kean and Albert Gudmundsson. The promising performance with Udinese certainly helped bring the first glimmers of serenity to the Fiorentina household, but the month of January could still prove to be rather stormy for the lily-livered environment.
