Paolo Bianco extols Monza: "After relegation there"were high risks"
Paolo Bianco rejoices over his Monza team’s non-trivial victory in Modena, stressing the importance of the Brianzola standings in a decidedly not easy season: that of relegation from Serie A to B. That, in the past, has proved a genuine nightmare for other teams in the same situation. “We have so many examples of teams making the double jump backwards, finding themselves in two years in Serie C – stressed the biancorosso coach to ‘DAZN’ -. The relegation came very early during last season, with very complicated months. The start of this season, however, was also tough, both for me and for the staff”.
“We approached this Serie B with several players who have played at a high level in Serie A– wanted to remark Bianco -. We could have found ourselves in this high ranking situation only by working well from the psychological point of view. We succeeded, so I say bravo to everyone. Because when you cannot find players who realize they can be decisive, even the coach struggles. But this Monza is showing that it is there, even though Serie B is always dangerous. We will have to always stay alert and keep playing like this”.
White then dwelt on the performance that specifically his Monza provided in Modena. “The match was beautiful – is the analysis of the Brianzoli coach -, they faced two teams capable of not sparing themselves from the first to the’last minute. The first half was balanced, in the second we were good at staying calm and overturning the result. We won deservedly. I had simply asked the team to do what they know. Winning in this stadium is never easy for anyone, so we were really very good”.
White, moreover, is a former Modena player. “Coming back here certainly had a certain effect on me. Towards this square I have a lot of esteem, today the curve booed me but I am convinced that thanks to the Rivetti family this team will be able to return to Serie A”, said the Monza coach without mincing words.

“I am very close to President Rivetti, a person who is far above average and who has taught me so much – added Bianco in reference to his past in the Emilian land, from the start of the 2023-2024 season to the following April -. I do not know how long he will need, but I am convinced that he will bring Modena” back to Serie A.
