Africa Cup of Nations 2025: Nigeria-Tunisia, the likely lineups

The second day of Group C closes with the landmark match between Nigeria and Tunisia, both of which started off on the right foot in the African Cup of Nations 2025 and are determined to consolidate their position in the standings. Kickoff at 9 p.m. at ‘Complexe Sportif de Fès’. In the opener, Nigeria took the three points by overcoming Tanzania 2-1, while Tunisia cleared Uganda with a convincing 3-1.

In the Nigerian home side, no major changes are expected: Lookman will again be a starter, as will Osimhen; completing the offensive department will be Chukwueze and Adams. Ndidi-Iwobi midfield dam, defense headed by the Ajayi-Bassey pair.

On the Tunisian front, confirmation for Achouri on the right lane, with Saad acting on the opposite out and Mastouri occupying the central area of the offensive trident. In the middle of the field, dictating the tempo will once again be Skhiri.
