Serie B 2025-2026: Palermo-Padova, the probable formations

Palermo hosts Padova at 5:15 p.m. at the Stadio Renzo Barbera, in the match valid for the 18th day of Serie B. After the stop with Avellino (2-2), the rosanero want to immediately find the three points to stay in the play-off zone. On the other side, the Biancoscudati look for their fifth consecutive useful result to move closer to the play-off zone.

Filippo Inzaghi is called upon to deal with a real emergency in the defensive department: the disqualifications of Bani and Diakité reduce the choices, while on the center-right the possible recovery of Bereszynski is awaited until the last, who would complete the defensive trio with Peda and Ceccaroni. On the midfield flanks, therefore, there is room for Gyasi, albeit not in the best condition, and Augello on the left, while on the three-quarter Palumbo and Le Douaron will be in charge of supporting Pohjanpalo as an offensive reference.

In Padua, Harder is back available after being disqualified: he will compete for a place with Crisetig for the role of director, either side of Fusi and Varas. In defense, in front of the goalkeeper, space is given to former Perrotta along with Faedo and Sgarbi to make up the usual trio, while on the outside lanes Capelli and Barreca start up front, although Ghiglione remains a concrete option.
