Lazio, fresh from the draw not without regrets and controversy in Udine, is also looking to Monza for the now imminent repair market: two are the red and white players they are interested in, Keita Balde and Andrea Colpani, with the knowledge that it will not be easy to find a square with the ambitious Brianza club, in the hunt for an important goal, such as a return to the top flight after only one year of purgatory, and whose standings have returned to smiles after the successes with Carrarese and Modena.

“I have always followed Lazio is something you have inside. I come out of the Lazio Primavera and my involvement in Lazio goes beyond everything. I won the Scudetto with the Primavera and then I went to the First Team. I have a sense of belonging with Lazio. Lotito? I am like a son to him and he is a father to me” the words of the Senegalese class of 1995, dating back to September last year, during the Lazio Social Club broadcast on Radio Laziale.

The biancoceleste club likes, and not a little, another of the elements of Paolo Bianco’s roster, Andrea Colpani: the offensive outside player, who played for Fiorentina last season, was not redeemed by the purple club, and therefore returned to Monza. His start to the season was not the best, then the youngster regained confidence and even made his mark before stopping due to a muscle problem that has been keeping him away from the playing fields for a month now.

The Brescian born in 1999 has always been appreciated both by Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri and by the sporting director of the Capitoline club, Angelo Fabiani, and has a tag that can be valued at around 8 million euros, an affordable figure.

In the next round of the Serie A championship, on Jan. 4, Lazio will host Napoli. For the cadet tournament, on the other hand, Monza will only return to the field on the 10th, with the second away match in a row after Modena: the former Galliani-boys will be on stage in Chiavari with Virtus Entella.
