Among the possible candidates to shore up the Rossoneri rearguard is Toti, central Portuguese captain of Wolverhampton. The club is experiencing a nightmarish season: despite a good squad, the team is very last in the standings with just 2 points won in the first 18 matches, even 10 points less than the second-last in the table (in Burnley). Salvation is very complicated and inevitably in the summer there will be a revolution that could also involve Toti himself, in the squad since 2022.

The champion has received some offers to leave Wolverhampton in January but does not intend to accept: he wants to honor his commitment to Wolves at least until the end of the season, then it will most likely be divorce. Raised in the ranks of the youth teams of Estoril, Toti was signed by Wolverhampton in 2020 for just under 800’000 euros, then was immediately turned over on loan to Swiss Grasshoppers. He returned to England in January 2022 and established himself as one of the pillars of the team.

The defender in recent years has had several physical problems but definitely has great qualities that, however, need time to emerge: with Massimiliano Allegri he could do very well.

Do not exclude the idea Eric Dier, who is playing very little with Monaco. The English defender decided to move to the Principality after his farewell to Bayern Munich but is having more difficulties than expected and a transfer at the end of the season cannot be ruled out. Different profile than Disasi, he could still be a good option for the Rossoneri.
