Aprilia Racing officially unveiled the Aprilia RS-GP26, entrusted for the second consecutive year to Marco Bezzecchi and Jorge Martín for the 2026 MotoGp season. A bike, proudly Italian, with a strong technological and sporting identity that represents the state of the art of a project in continuous development. Also at the presentation was Max Biaggi, ambassador of the house of Noale, who was interviewed by Sportal.it.

“In 2026 Aprilia will be there in front, with Marco and with Jorge. Bezzecchi finished great in 2025, a year that was totally negative for Martin, who was also unlucky,” assured the two-time Superbike world champion and as many as four in the 250 class.

“The Spaniard was world champion in 2024, his qualities are beyond question and I am sure he will want to show them in the next championship. The fact of having a strong and determined teammate like Bezzecchi will undoubtedly represent an additional stimulus for him,” he added.
“Lorenzo Savadori is also doing a great job and the figure of the test rider is very important. Then the two first guides refine everything, with details that are needed to adapt even better to the bike. Everyone in this team is giving 100 percent, and there is reason to be confident,” Biaggi’s conclusion.

The RS-GP26 will also be the latest evolution of a technical cycle that has seen the fastest bikes in MotoGP history on the track thanks to extreme aerodynamics, lowerers and 1000cc engines that will no longer be allowed in the technical regulations starting in 2027. For these reasons, the RS-GP26 will be the fastest prototype ever built in the history of Aprilia Racing.

Marco Bezzecchi and Jorge Martín will be able to count on a solid and cohesive team, with the support of official test rider Lorenzo Savadori and the Trackhouse MotoGP Team, with Raúl Fernández and Ai Ogura. The Trackhouse project, conceived as a strategic partner and not just a satellite team, continues to be a key resource for the continued development of the RS-GP, providing valuable data and contributing to the innovation process.
