Roma market, an outfielder but not only: Gian Piero Gasperini tempted by a former Juventus defender

After the double blow in attack, with the arrivals of Robinio Vaz and Donyell Malen, and the return to Aston Villa of Leon Bailey, Roma is ready to intervene in other departments to give Gian Piero Gasperini a competitive squad for the second half of the season and the double commitment league-Europa League.
Tuesday there’s been a summit involving the Piedmontese coach, sporting director Frederic Massara and CEO Ryan Friedkin: from the summit, as reported by Il Messaggero, it would have emerged the need for an extra element for the left side and among the hottest names, in this sense, is that of Niccolò Fortini, class of 2006, a Fiorentina player on the Italian National Under 21 team roster. However, the Tuscan club is asking 20 million for the outfielder, a figure considered too high to date for the Giallorossi club, which would look for more sustainable solutions.
There is no shortage of alternative solutions: in the background, in fact, there is also Yannick Carrasco, a Belgian former Atletico Madrid player, now playing for Al Shabab, a Saudi team: it is a profile of great international experience, which Roma is following carefully. However, the most important stumbling block in this case would be the player’s high salary, which would have to fall well below the current 13 million (excluding bonuses) he receives in Saudi Arabia.
Defense Chapter: Mario Hermoso’s injury, which will keep him off the field for about a month, brings back a reflection on Radu Dragusin, former Juventus player currently at Tottenham. The Romanian defender, as reported by Corriere dello Sport, has reportedly already spoken with Gasperini giving his consent to the transfer: they are working for a loan with right of redemption, although Tottenham prefers a solution that would allow them to obtain a financial income immediately.
