Roma market, Massara: "Priority to'attack"

Roma sporting director Frederic Massara spoke about possible new arrivals in the winter market after the purchases of Malen and Vaz: “We are evaluating if there will be other opportunities to try to improve the staff, perhaps giving priority to the offensive zone. Already Malen and Vaz have arrived, if there are other opportunities the club will be ready as it has done in the past” explained the Giallorossi executive. The Dutch striker immediately made the difference against Torino in the league.
Gian Piero Gasperini has decided to revolutionize the team in the Europa League: “We have many important matches to play, so we need to take advantage of all the resources available in the squad. Tonight there are many changes, but many guys have already done well so far. We are confident”, said Massara again. On the possible use of AngeliƱo: “He was out of the group for a long time. Now he has returned and is definitely better, his athletic condition is growing. We are confident of getting him back as soon as possible”.
Massara also expressed his thoughts on the youngsters in Gian Piero Gasperini’s team, including Pisilli: “We are counting a lot on these guys, they are growing. As for Pisilli, he has already played more than fifty matches with Roma and has had the opportunity to prove his full value at this level. In the last few matches he has played with more continuity and will be important for the continuation of the season. We are very much counting on him”.
The Capitolini are also very active on the exit front. The transfer of Tommaso Baldanzi to Genoa has been unblocked: the class of 2003 in the morning said goodbye to his now former Roma teammates and is ready to change jersey, so much so that he is already expected in the city of the Lanterna later today.
The turnaround has been linked to the transfer of Tommaso Baldanzi to Genoa.
The breakthrough was linked to another transaction with the capital club. The deal, in fact, also surprisingly included the class of 2006 Lorenzo Venturino, who apparently is highly appreciated by Giallorossi helmsman Gian Piero Gasperini.
