Monza has announced through a note that Armando Izzo has transferred to Avellino on a permanent basis. Arrived in Brianza in the summer of 2022, the gritty defender has collected 103 appearances and 5 goals with the biancorossa jersey, with which he was a protagonist first in Serie A and then in Serie B.

“Best of luck to Armando for this new adventure!”” the message from the Brianza club to the Campania-based player, with whom the relationship plummeted last week, just hours before the important challenge with Frosinone, in which the former Genoa and Torino player did not participate.

Another element that could leave Brianza, Dany Mota, will not be at the disposal of the biancorosso coach Paolo Bianco in Saturday’s match with bottom-of-the-table Pescara: to stop the Portuguese, who is interested and not a little in Palermo, a small muscle sprain on the thigh flexors.

Work in progress also for Andrea Colpani, who scored in the first leg on the Abruzzesi’s pitch and who could return to play in Serie A before January ends: Cremonese has asked Monza for him and negotiations are under way, they could close with a loan with right of redemption but for now the square on the figures has not been found.

Apparently, in fact, the brianzoli are asking for 900 thousand euros to sell the Brescia-born former Fiorentina player until the end of the season but the grigiorossi would like to invest about half of it for the time being.
