A joke is not understood and gives rise to a series of ironies. It happens often on social media and here is a shining example: in the photo Ron Jeremy, a famous pornographic actor, dressed as Diego Armando Maradona, in the company of Ilona Staller and Moana Pozzi.
The film “Cicciolina and Moana Mondiali” is a 1991 Italian film directed by Riccardo Schicchi, a well-known director and producer in the adult entertainment industry. This film stars two of the most famous Italian pornographic actresses of the ’80s and ’90s: Ilona Staller, better known as Cicciolina, and Moana Pozzi.
The film takes place in the context of the 1990 World Cup held in Italy. The plot is rather simple and serves mainly as a pretext for a series of erotic scenes. Cicciolina and Moana play two female fans who embark on various sexual adventures, meeting various characters along the way. The film mixes eroticism and humor, while maintaining a light and provocative style.
Ilona Staller’s relationship with the world of soccer was not limited only to that movie film. In a 2017 interview, Cicciolina herself had confessed her passion for soccer: “I do not always follow it but soccer fascinates me… Women like soccer. Not only soccer played but also the one behind the desks”. On that occasion, she had also expressed her desire to “participate in TV shows about soccer, as a special correspondent and, why not, promote a National Sexy Soccer Stars with commentator/madrina Cicciolina”.
In the following years, Ilona Staller continued to maintain a significant media presence, even participating in reality TV shows. In 2022, the former pornographic actress took part in L’Isola dei Famosi, the Mediaset program, forming a pair with former motorcycle racer Marco Melandri, who was looking for a new dimension after his career as a centaur.
