Bundesliga 2025-2026: Bayern Munich-Augsburg, the likely lineups

On Saturday at 3:30 p.m. Bayern Munich will host Augsburg at the Allianz Arena. The hosts are top of the standings with frightening numbers: 50 points in 18 days, the result of 16 wins and 2 draws. Even more impressive are the goal figures: Harry Kane and his teammates have scored 71 goals (more than twice as many as Borussia Dortmund in second place) and conceded 14.
Vincent Kompany will have to do without Josip Stanisic, Konrad Laimer and Sacha Boey. Dayot Upamecano is in doubt; in his place Kim Min-jae should start alongside Tah. Tom Bishof will sacrifice on the right with Hiroki Ito on the other side, between the posts the usual Manuel Neuer. Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka in the midfield, more advanced Michael Olise, Serge Gnabry and Luis Diaz behind Hurricane Harry Kane.
Augsburg is not doing so well: the team is 15th in the standings with just three points ahead of the relegation zone. To face Bayern Munich, coach Manuel Baum, who took over from Sandro Wagner at the beginning of December, will rely on a 3-4-2-1 obviously marked, considering the opponent, more on the defensive than on the offensive side.
The team will be in a 3-4-2-1.
Between the posts will be Dahmen, in front of him Zesiger, Schlotterbeck and Keitel. Rexhbeçaj and Massengo in the center, Fellhauer on the right and Giannoulis on the left. Kade and Claude-Maurice in the three-quarter will have the task of supplying Gregoritsch.
