Como market, hit for the women’s team: Valentina Giacinti returns to Italy

Como Femminile has announced the signing of Valentina Giacinti, one of the most representative players on the Italian scene. Inducted into the Hall of Fame, the’former Milan player arrives in biancoblù bringing with her a wealth of experience and successes of the highest level: two Serie A championships, one Coppa Italia and three Italian Super Cups won during her career.

Valentina Giacinti has worn the jerseys of Atalanta, Napoli, Seattle P.H.A., Mozzanica, Brescia, Milan, Fiorentina, Roma and Galatasaray, scoring over 200 goals in Serie A and 15 goals in the Women’s Champions League. With the Italian women’s senior national team, she collected 85 appearances, embellished by 26 goals.

Throughout her incredible career she has always shown great determination, contributing not only with goals but also with her daily work in service to the group. Ethusiastic also Valentina Giacinti, who spoke this way about her arrival in Como: “I am very happy to be here and to have accepted this project. I can’t wait to get started. I was impressed by the people who are part of the club and the determination with which they wanted to bring me to Como. When I received the call I had no doubts: I immediately perceived a project that puts the person before the player, and for me this is fundamental to build something important.
