Speaking at a press conference after the match, Torino coach Marco Baroni tried to interpret the reasons for a humiliating day, from a sporting point of view, for the Granata’environment.

“I take responsibility for this defeat – said Baroni, bluntly -I do not think about the absentees, we faced a stronger and brighter team than us, mentally and physically. After the penalty we practically walked off the field. I am not disappointed with the players, I take it on myself: I am the person who has to find solutions”. Baroni then confirmed that he had heard from the club and had no doubts about his future on the bench: “I have never felt so much confidence, they even reiterated it to me” he said.
