Torino remembers movingly the young fan who tragically passed away

The untimely and tragic death of Davide Borgione has also saddened the management of Torino, the team for which the young man cheered. “President Urbano Cairo and the entire Torino Football Club, saddened by the very sad news, are close with affection to the Borgione family in the memory of dear Davide Borgione, who died tragically at the age of 19” reads the note issued by the Granata club.
“Passionate soccer player, exemplary student, music lover, always a proud Toro fan: Davide leaves an indelible memory in all those who knew him. To the dearest loved ones, relatives and the many friends the affectionate closeness and fraternal embrace of the entire Granata” world reads again.
“I accompanied him to the disco, because there is no parking there. He said hello pa’ and smiled at me. I knew he would come home on his scooter or electric bike, as he often did. He didn’t have a helmet that night, he’d forgotten it at home”, are the heartbreaking words of Fabrizio Borgione, Davide”s dad, reported by SkyTg24.
The young man was resuscitated for a long time by the medical team of the ambulance that arrived on the scene. He was then transported to’Cto Hospital, where he was pronounced dead from head trauma.
“He was a generous and loyal boy, reserved, but capable of having cordial relations with everyone–recalls with La Stampa–Giovanna Possidente, the boy’s Greek and Latin teacher.
He was full of dreams, music and sports, above all. All this helped him live with the great pain of losing his brother, which occurred when he was only 16 years old. He never talked about it, but you could see that he also suffered because for him that older brother was an important reference point. He had grown up a little faster than the others and, perhaps, that was also why his classmates turned to him when there was something to be organized outside the school environment. Let’s say he was a dragger”,
