Torino market, change of strategy to get to Luca Ranieri

The tennis-filled 6-0 suffered on Saturday on the field of Como did nothing but confirm Torino’s problems in the back department: the granata players gravitating in front of goalkeeper Paleari were put in great difficulty by the Lariani, who have high-level elements and are going through an excellent moment of form, as certified also by the matches with Milan – result aside – and in Rome with Lazio scrambled by the verve of Nico Paz and company.

To concede six goals, however, has little justification, and that is also why the club is accelerating, also in view of the next competitive appointment: on Sunday, at lunchtime, the challenge is with Lecce, which has just returned to scoring points (one, to be honest, with Lazio) and which will give the team of one Marco Baroni (formerly of the Salentini, by the way, as a player as well as a coach) a hard time.

Primary target for the defense is Luca Ranieri, who is no longer considered indispensable in Florence, despite the fact that the violets have already lost another central player, Pablo Marí, who has landed at Al-Hilal in Simone Inzaghi’s court. From Turin, therefore, they have decided to change strategy and have therefore thought of including one if not two technical counterparts in the negotiation: Cristiano Biraghi, who has offers from Serie B but does not want to go down to the cadetteria, would represent a return horse.

As an alternative, the name of Kristjan Asllani is mentioned, on whom, however, there are also the French FC Paris and there could be a comeback from Genoa.
