Torino market, Kristjan Asllani’s future is bianconero

The future of Kristjan Asllani looks set to continue far from Italy. The Albanian midfielder is in fact one step away from a move to Turkey, with Besiktas getting closer and closer to closing the deal.
The 23-year-old, currently at Torino but owned by Inter Milan, has already given his go-ahead for a move to the Istanbul club. The deal involves a loan with right of redemption, with the wages to be covered entirely by the Turkish club.
Only a few final bureaucratic details remain to be settled between the two Italian clubs and Besiktas for the final white smoke. Once the formalities are completed, Asllani will be ready to fly to Istanbul as early as this evening, officially kicking off his new adventure.
Marco Baroni, meanwhile, is at great risk and cannot afford for Torino to run into any more missteps if he does not want a changeover: the very heavy defeat suffered by the granata on the Como pitch has put his future at risk.
Torino, after 22 league games, has collected 23 points, scoring 21 goals and conceding 40, making it the worst defense in the entire Serie A at the final whistle of the match against Como.
The granata have had an anonymous season so far in the league, but are still in contention on the Coppa Italia front, a trophy they have won five times, most recently in the 1992-93 season. Toro, in the Cup, has beaten Modena, Pisa and, most recently, Roma at the Stadio Olimpico, and in the quarterfinals will face Atalanta, in the same side of the table that also has Bologna and Lazio involved.
