Champions League draw: the opponents of Inter, Juventus and Atalanta

In Nyon, the playoff pairings valid for the Champions League knockout stage were drawn. Inter, Juventus and Atalanta, all three seeded teams, drew Bodø/Glimt, Galatasaray and Borussia Dortmund, respectively. As for the other teams, Real Madrid will once again face Benfica, French derby for PSG with Monaco.

Inter vice-president Javier Zanetti commented on the draw to the microphones of Sky Sport: “It&#8217s a team to be careful against, we will have to prepare it in the best way. Inter wants to be a protagonist also in the Champions League, Bodø/Glimt is not a team to be underestimated. We will take care of all the details, we have to be very focused”.

Then it was the turn of Giorgio Chiellini, Juventus Director of Football Strategy: “Galatasaray? Strong team of great individuals and players. We will have to be good at challenging them in their gaps. Fascinating challenge, difficult match but also a good test. Galatasaray is not only Osimhen”.

“It&#8217s historic to be here, excluded teams give value to the performance of Atalanta– the words instead of Umberto Marino, general manager of Atalanta -. We will try to do well as we do in certain stages. Borussia has experience, we will try to put in determination and passion. We will have to give 120 percent”.

The matches valid for the playoffs will be played over eight days between the first leg, scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 17 and Wednesday, Feb. 18, and the return leg, scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 24 and Wednesday, Feb. 25. All three Italian teams, as seeded teams, will play the return challenge at home.
