In the past few hours, Juventus has secured the services of Adin Ličina, a very young Bayern Munich star who has decided to move to Turin on a zero-parameter basis (he was on deadline with the Bavarian club). Born in 2007, the German striker will initially be aggregated to Juve Next Gen to allow him to acclimatize in Italy and complete the maturation process, later if things go well Ličina will be aggregated to the first team led by Luciano Spalletti.

Adin Ličina’s transfer to Juventus has sparked outrage among Bayern Munich fans who have vented their disappointment through social media. According to German fans, the club let a huge talent slip through their fingers and they fear that a case similar to that of Kenan Yildiz could occur. The Turkish starlet grew up in Bayern Munich’s youth ranks and in 2022 moved on a free transfer to Juventus, where he matured tremendously and soon became a staple of the first team.

A class of 2005, Kenan Yildiz is without a shadow of a doubt one of Juventus’ best signings in recent years, and the numbers prove it as well: in 114 games played with the Bianconeri jersey, the player has recorded 25 goals and 19 assists, very important numbers for a player of his age at his first experience among the big boys. Adin Ličina is a similar profile in terms of characteristics to Kenan Yildiz although he plays on the opposite flank: he loves to challenge opponents in one-on-one and has great dribbling skills.

While waiting for Adin Ličina to clear the paperwork and move to Turin for good, Juventus will take on Parma on Sunday night. The team will certainly want to redeem itself after the 0-0 draw against Monaco in the Champions League: “These are experiences that will come in handy in the future. In the last game we were not brilliant, it can happen, but I expect an immediate reaction” said Luciano Spalletti in a press conference.

In the Champions League playoffs the Bianconeri will face Galatasaray: “We will face that challenge with the conviction that we can play on equal terms. They have widespread individual qualities, with players I know well. Osimhen and Icardi? They are two different number nines, but both of the highest level”.
