Premier League 2025-2026: Leeds United-Arsenal, the likely lineups

Leeds and Arsenal take on each other at 4 p.m. both with the goal of obtaining three important points for the continuation of the championship: the home team wants to maintain and possibly increase its six-point lead over the relegation zone, while the guests on the other hand want to leave pursuers City and Aston Villa at a safe distance.
Farke’s team currently sits in 16th place with 26 points and comes off a home win with Fulham and a draw at home to Everton’Everton. The German coach will be ready to deploy a 4-3-3: Calvert-Lewin will be the central point, alongside him Aaronson and Okafor. Former Venice man Ampadu will play in midfield, while in defense there will be room for Rodon and Struijk.
The Gunners just ended the Champions League championship phase in first place with eight wins out of eight. In the league, however, in the last period they seem to be struggling. Defeat to United allowed City and Aston Villa to move back to within just four points of the Londoners, and in the minds of Arteta and players perhaps the fear of throwing it all away again as in past years is returning. To chase away these specters, the Basque coach is relying on Sweden’s Gyokeres as a forward: together with him Saka and Trossard complete the offensive trident, while Rice, Zubimendi and Odegaard will play in midfield.
