Serie A 2025-2026: Pisa-Sassuolo, the likely lineups
Pisa and Sassuolo will open with a 3 p.m. match at the Anconetani-Arena Garibaldi on Saturday in Serie A, presenting themselves as an important challenge for the destinies of both in the second half of the standings. The Nerazzurri are looking for solidity in front of their own public, in a stadium where they have scored just two goals this season, while the neroverdi want to continue in the wake of what they showed last Sunday against Cremonese, beaten 1-0 at the Mapei Stadium.
Alberto Gilardino, coach of the Nerazzurri, must forgo Calabresi, who was stopped by the sports judge, and redesigns the defensive line by inserting Caracciolo alongside Coppola and Canestrelli in his 3-4-2-1. On the flanks will act Touré and Angori, while in the middle of the field the geometries are entrusted to Marin and Aebischer.
