Como slams Marco Carnesecchi: against Atalanta it is 0-0

Como and Atalanta close on 0-0 a very tense Lombardy derby, not only because of the long-standing rivalry that divides the two fans but also for ranking reasons. The sixth place, currently occupied by the Larians, in fact guarantees a place in Europe next season, the seventh of the Bergamasks does not. The draw at Sinigaglia Stadium, however, goes tight especially to the hosts, in numerical superiority already from the’8′ for the expulsion of Honest Ahanor but unable to beat an insuperable Marco Carnesecchi. Who, with time largely expired, also parries a penalty shot to Nico Paz.

On Baturina’s assist, Douvikas easily finds the 4-0 further sinking a struggling Torino.
Nicolas Kühn, who just entered the field, from the edge of the area scored the fifth goal, beating Paleari with a precise left-footed shot and once again slotting into the Granata goal.
The match ends with the 6-0 signed by Caqueret who controls at the edge and kicks right.
Caqueret’s goal comes accomplice to a wrong postponement by Casadei that favors Como’s'action.
For Torino the triple whistle finally arrives, while Como celebrates a crushing victory.

The potentially direct clash (but only in the event of an Atalanta victory) changes face as early as 8 minutes in, when Ahanor leaves his teammates down to ten men after a skirmish with Perrone culminated in an unsportsmanlike reaction. Raffaele Palladino reacts to the&#8217 mishap with a surprise move: he recalls Scamacca (already dangerous on a free kick) to the bench, sending on Sulemana with a defense that switches to four men. But Como, from the start, tries everything: Douvikas misses everything in front of the goal, then Ramon raises his aim too much and, on a corner, sends his header wide.

The theme remains the same for much of the match: before halftime Carnesecchi bars the door to Douvikas and then to Nico Paz, then it is Scalvini who saves Atalanta on a Perrone tap-in. Then the visiting goalkeeper is providential on Vojvoda, Ramon and Douvikas. At the start of the second half, Sulemana tried on a restart for the Orobici, then blunders by Ramon and especially Douvikas on a wide open goal were glaring. Krstovic’s entrance makes Dea breathe, then it is the sub Morata who builds two crisp goal balls that are not exploited.

The match seems destined to end goalless, but even in the fourth minute of recovery the Var detects a hand deflection by Scalvini in the box. There’s the penalty, which Nico Paz, however, gets neutralized by Carnesecchi when by then the clock reads 98 minutes. For the talented Como striker, it is the third consecutive mistake in a season.

The 0-0 draw at Sinigaglia does not change the substance of the standings of Como and Atalanta, still separated by 5 points to the advantage of the Larians. It does, however, fade the possibility of perhaps definitively ousting the Orobici from the European race that Cesc Fabregas’ men are leading with the Dea in the role of first pursuer.
