Sunday’s Serie A closes with a pyrotechnic 2-2 draw between Juventus and Lazio, with the Bianconeri able to come back from a two-goal deficit for a still valuable draw when defeat seemed to be on the way. It was the Biancocelesti who struck first, and they did so in lightning fashion straddling halftime. In the 47th minute a mistake by Locatelli paved the way for Pedro, who took advantage of Maldini’s assist and put Lazio ahead. In the opening minutes of the second half, the doubling also arrived: Cataldi launched Isaksen, who beat Cambiaso and signed the 0-2 in the 49th minute.

Juventus, however, does not give up. The Bianconeri picked up the pace and reopened the game in the 59th minute, when McKennie soared a header and beat Provedel to make it 2-1. From that moment on, it’s a real onslaught: Spalletti’s team pushes with continuity, while Lazio compacts and tries to defend, relying on the counterattacks. There was no shortage of chances: McKennie went close to equalizing before leaving the field, Yildiz came close to scoring in the recovery, while Lazio wasted chances with Noslin and Taylor to close the score.

When everything seemed to be decided, the final twist came: in the 96th minute, on an initiative by Boga, Kalulu surged forward and found a surprise goal that made it 2-2. In the salvage there is even room for the Juventus overtaking chance, with Openda going within a step of the winning goal. It ends in a draw: Juventus rises to 46 points after a characterful comeback, while Lazio remains eighth at 33, paying for a physical drop in the second half.
