The 41-year-old U.S. champion, who was competing with a ruptured ACL in her left knee, fell at high speed on the Olympia slope at the Tofane, which has brought her so much joy in her career in the past. “The U.S. athlete was admitted and taken care of by a multidisciplinary team”, is the statement from the’hospital, which announced that the next medical bulletin will be issued Monday at 12 p.m. The U.S. Ski Federation announced that the athlete&#8217s condition is “stable” and that Vonn is being followed by a team composed of Italian and U.S. doctors.
