The evening match, scheduled for 8:45 p.m., between Roma and Cagliari closes the 24th day of Serie A. At the Olimpico will face two teams coming from different moments. Gasperini’s team, in full fight for the top four spots, wants to take advantage of the draw between Juventus and Lazio that matured at Juventus Stadium. The Giallorossi come from a draw at the Olimpico against AC Milan and a bitter defeat in Udine. Gasperini&#8217s team, however, can count on a granitic defensive phase that is even more effective at home: only six goals have been conceded in 11 home matches. Credit must be given to the defense but especially to Svilar who, several times, has saved the Giallorossi with decisive saves.

The capital club has to do without several elements: in addition to the long-suffering Dovbyk, Dybala, Vaz, Ferguson, Kone and Hermoso all struggling with physical problems have not been summoned. Gasperini will line up with his usual 3-4-2-1: Svilar between the posts, three-man defense with Mancini, Ndicka and Ghilardi, flanks manned by Wesley and Celik, in the middle of the field there will be Cristante and El Aynaoui. Three-quarter formed by Soulé and new recruit Zaragoza, ahead of Pellegrini, to support the’only forward Malen.

Cagliari is going through the best moment of the entire season. The Sardinian team comes from three very important victories against Juventus, Fiorentina and a clear 4-0 win against Hellas Verona that allowed the Sardinians to get out of the hot zone of the standings. The Rossoblù are, now, in 12th place in the standings at +10 from third-last Fiorentina. Pisacane&#8217s team in the last period has managed to find compactness and balance between the departments, managing to bring out the best from their outstanding players: Mina (who will not be in the match) has brought solidity to the defensive department thanks to his experience, the young outside Palestra creates unpredictability and numerical superiority with his tears on the flank and there&#8217s also the talent of Kilicsoy in goal in the last two matches. Pisacane for this match opts for a 4-3-3 with: Caprile in goal, Obert and Ze Pedro wide with Rodriguez and Dossena central. In midfield there&#8217s Gaetano at the low vertex with Mazzitelli and Adopo on either side of him. Gymnasium and Esposito as wingers who will serve forward Kilicsoy.
