Daniele Lavia, round figure but no cup for return to the field

The best scorer of the Del Monte Final Four of the Italian Cup, closed with the triumph of Rana Verona, was Theo Faure, who was able to put up a total of 37 points in the two games played with Itas Trentino: 24 in the Semifinals and 13 in the decisive match.
On the service side, Noumory Keita signed four ace between Semifinal (1) and Final (3). Same haul for Paolo Porro, author of four winning serves, all scored in the semifinal against Itas Trentino.
At the wall, Rana Verona stood out, with sixteen total blocks, and Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza, stopped at thirteen. Among individual performances, the four walls of Jose Miguel Gutierrez and the three each of Alessandro Bovolenta and Paolo Porro stood out. Of particular note was the performance of Itas Trentino center Simon Torwie, who scored six walls in Bologna, equally distributed between the two matches.
The Final Four also celebrated two important personal milestones: the return to the court of Daniele Lavia, who celebrated his 150th appearance with the Itas Trentino jersey in Volleyball League Serie A competitions, and that of Rok Mozic, captain of Rana Verona, who reached the same number of appearances in the colors of the Verona club and was rewarded by winning the Final Four.
