Khalia Lanier, sigh of relief: no bone injury

The Numia Vero Volley Milan does not stop and, putting behind the tie-break loss against Novara, already looks ahead to the next engagement on the 11th day of the Regular Season. On Wednesday, February 11 at 8 p.m., at the Allianz Cloud in Milan, the meneghine will face Omag-Mt. San Giovanni in Marignano, with live coverage on VBTV.
In the first leg Milan had won with a clear 3-0, but the formation led by former captain Serena Ortolani arrives at the appointment in great confidence, strong with an excellent state of form and enthusiasm accrued in the last four days, ready to create difficulties for the hosts.
For Numia, the goal is to return to success right away and win the entire stake, a key result to consolidate third place in the standings and try to reduce the gap from Scandicci, currently second, three lengths behind.
The challenge against San Giovanni in Marignano thus represents a key step for Milan, which, however, will have to do without Khalia Lanier, who exited prematurely against Novara due to a sprained ankle. Medical examinations, however, showed no bone injuries. The former Conegliano player will now observe a period of rest and rehabilitation. Her condition and recovery time will be evaluated day by day based on her progress.
