And again it cuts them off next time

Facebook / Frank Ilett

Manchester United at the center of the world&#8217s attention, thanks to Frank Ilett. The latter is not a young revelation of the Red Devils, perhaps exploded after Michael Carrick&#8217s arrival on the bench, but probably the most celebrated fan of the Premier League noble decadent. Whose social initiative, called ‘The United Strand’ has become a cause for interest of even planetary prominence. The’intuition is as simple as it is ingenious: don&#8217t get a haircut until the fifth consecutive victory of your favorite team. Too bad that the goal has been missing since October 2024 and that, 493 days later, the match against West Ham represented on paper the right opportunity. On paper, indeed.

"Scandal" for Caterina Balivo: there's an uncle’s in the middle… interista
The presenter, super supporter of Napoli, told that in the family there's a black sheep. Indeed, nerazzurra.
He did so in a recent interview granted to the 'Gazzetta dello Sport'. "A scandal" she smiled.
Tons of concepts expressed by the good (and beautiful) Campanian conductor.
"Napoli is experienced as a true faith by those born and raised in the city".
His first times at the stadium go back to'childhood, in the Maradona period.
"There'was also Naldi’s Napoli in Serie B and failure. And I was there'I was"
"Then the slow rise with De Laurentiis from Serie C. And there'I was also there".
In the last three years Napoli has won two championships.

"Winning two titles in three years is something huge".

"Conte’s reappointment was the best news of the'year".
"Soccer looks like life: there are ups, downs, falls and restarts".
"When you are on a high you have to rejoice without forgetting that nothing lasts forever".

The fateful West Ham-Manchester United match took place on Tuesday evening, February 10, at the London Stadium, the first real occasion after months of spasmodic waiting for Frank Ilett’s haircut. And the term “spasmodic” is no exaggeration: fans of ‘The United Strand’ logged on to follow the live stream not of the match as much as of the fan in excess of 150 thousand. The peak streaming even reached 265 thousand. All waiting for a goal and a victory – sure – but especially on its consequences “trichological”.

The wait, in the end, proved to be in vain. Manchester United conceded at 50′ Tomas Soucek’s goal, leaving an astonished Frank Ilett breathless and speechless.

The discouragement of the VIP fan and his very rich chat (total followers exceeded one million the day before the London trip), also fueled by the VAR’s decision not to validate Casemiro’s equalizer. So, mockery of mocks for the Red Devils, the’1-1 against West Ham came but only at 96′ with the signature of Benjamin Sesko. Result: the parabola of ‘The United Strand’ continues.

And it must be said that the Manchester United fan continues to seem more focused on his soccer faith than on the fame he has since attracted around him. Indeed, the failure of his favorites to win for the fifth time in a row continues his social campaign and consequently does not turn off the spotlight shining on him. His end-of-game discouragement, however, suggests that Frank Ilett would have preferred the opposite scenario.

After all, ‘The United Strand’ had already prepared the clippers, ideally with the’intent of “paying the pledge” before his army of followers. But the dumbfounded reaction to West Ham’s lead and the one at the final whistle with his hands in his (very many, by now) hair gives the most poetic slide of the whole affair: despite being famous precisely because Manchester United doesn’t win enough, Frank Ilett would rather end the catchphrase that has rewarded him as long as he could see the Red Devils dominate again.
