Repentant biathlete on live TV: came the reaction of'ex-girlfriend
Norwegian biathlete Sturla Holm Laegreid has hit the world media for his surprising confession after winning a bronze medal at the 2026 Milan Cortina Olympics. Instead of celebrating his first career Olympic medal, the 28-year-old athlete burst into tears in front of reporters microphones, confessing that he cheated on his girlfriend.
“Six months ago I met the’love of my life. The most beautiful and kindest person in the world. Three months ago I made my biggest mistake and cheated on her, and I told her a week ago. It was the worst week of my life”, Laegreid had let out a tearful vent.

The Norwegian website VG managed to reach Laegreid’s now ex-girlfriend, who wished to remain anonymous but responded to the ex-partner’s outburst: “It“s hard to forgive. Even after a declaration of love in front of the whole world. It hurts to have to endure this. We were in contact and he knows my opinion on the matter”.
