Bayern Munich, two goodbyes already finalized for summer

In a few months the summer soccer market session will open, and Bayern Munich has already defined two goodbyes. The first is that of Leon Goretzka, who bid farewell to fans in recent days through a long post on Instagram: “As honored as I am by the interest of top international clubs, I have made a clear decision: I want to stay at Bayern until the end of the season. The club and I have decided that our fruitful partnership will end in the summer. Until then we will fight together to win titles”.
Leon Goretzka has several options for his future. Atletico Madrid is, at the moment, the most likely hypothesis: the Colchoneros’ sporting director has already been to Munich to talk to the experienced midfielder’s entourage and, in the course of the conversation, outlined the team’s future plans. Not to be ruled out is the Manchester United hypothesis, which is looking for an heir to Casemiro who announced his farewell a few days ago, but Turkey is also a viable option: Fenerbahce and Besiktas tried to buy Goretzka as early as January but failed.
The experienced German midfielder could also continue his career in Italy.
Milan is doing everything to find a square to the economic issue. The Rossoneri club had some contacts with Goretzka in the winter but initially the financial problem was huge: the midfielder has a very high salary to which one has to add a’significant commission for his procurers. Milan sporting director Igli Tare still wants to give it a try.
Bayern Munich will also lose Nicolas Jackson in the summer: the striker has not shown enough to merit redemption and will return to Chelsea to discuss his future with new coach Liam Rosenior. The Senegalese center forward moved to Germany last summer on an onerous loan (16 million euros) with the right of redemption set at 65 million euros.
The names to replace Nicolas Jackson are several but at the top of Max Eberl’s list is Dusan Vlahovic: the Serbian could leave Juventus for free and such opportunities do not come up often. Also watch out for Eli Junior Kroupi, the young Frenchman who is doing very well with Bournemouth.
