D'Angelo Harrison finds new team: it’s official

Ballacanestro Roseto has announced the signing of D’Angelo Harrison, a new White and Blue player. The A2 championship top scorer after his farewell to Bergamo settles in with Liofilchem, currently in 19th place in the league standings.

“A 192-cm guard, born in 1993, D’Angelo is a player of absolute level from a technical point of view, very unpredictable in the open court and with a formidable shot from long distance: 98 total games played in Serie A, not forgetting the many appearances between Coppa Italia and European Cups with the undershirts of Brindisi and Treviso” reads the club statement.

“Originally from Alaska, he took his first steps with St. Johns University with which he stayed 4 years at an average of 17 points per season, entering by right in the history of the university being the third best scorer ever, behind even the great Chris Mullin. Landing in Europe in 2015 in Turkey with Usak Sportif, with whom he remains for two seasons before moving to Israel to Hapoel Gilboa Galil (over 17 points at the end of the year); then Russia and France with Le Portel, in February 2020 the return to Israel with Maccabi Rishon, losing the final for the title to Maccabi Tel Aviv, scoring an impressive 38 points in the last act”.

“In the summer of 2020 he signed in Italy with Brindisi, with which he finished the season with an average over 18 (best scorer in the league) and over 19 in Champions; the following year in Ukraine with Prometej before returning to Brindisi in the 2022/23 season. He also remained in Italy the following two years with a move to Treviso in Vitucci”s court.

“This year, for the first time in A2 in Bergamo with whom he played until a few days ago with resounding averages: over 20 points average, 3.6 assists and over 4 rebounds with 36% from three-point range”.

“26 points against Roseto in the first game played Oct. 5, while the season high is an impressive 38 points scored against Mestre”.
