Anna Kalinskaya throws accusations: "It’s all her fault"

Anna Kalinskaya certainly doesn’t mince her words. The Russian tennis player, who has always spoken her mind without mincing her words, attacked coach Patrick Mouratoglou and his academy for some of her back problems, which she suffered at a young age: “It&#8217s a very good academy, with a million courts and an incredible gym. For a while’I trained there but they started asking me for huge physical efforts and I was absolutely not ready” are the reported words of the Muscovite to Elena Vesnina&#8221s podcast.

“Until I was 16 years old I was not doing weights. There, however, everything was very intense and there was no individual approach. I admit I started to get good results, but I also started to have back problems, which still come up from time to time. And that was my first injury”, said the Russian.

“The last time I was there I stayed ten days. I trained with one coach, but by the third day there was another one. I was told that he was working with another player, because a pro had arrived and the priority was for players on the circuit. Anna Kalinskaya was briefly engaged to Jannik Sinner in 2024. The Russian has had a great start to the season and is now 24th in the WTA rankings.
