Gaon Choi, a South Korean snowboarder who specializes in the'halfpipe, was the protagonist of a bad fall.
The injury looked serious, but fortunately it wasn&#039t. And then she won the'gold.
There were scary moments for Canadian Megan Oldham as well.
Great apprehension there'was also for Liu Jiayu.
Thankfully nothing broken after the ruinous fall into the'half-pipe.
Big scare also for one'other Canadian, Elizabeth Hosking.
Dane Menzies got away with no damage after bumping into snow.
The'Italian Maria Gassliter avoided the worst by using her arms.

New Zealand’s Luca Harrington recovered immediately and also took bronze.

Throng with fans from all latitudes, Livigno expressed all the energy of a venue that is not just a stage for races, but a space for sharing and celebration. At the forefront, among Italian flags and warm applause, very strong the emotional participation of those who wanted to be present, testifying once again how sport, here, is lived as a collective experience and a symbol of belonging. At dusk, finally, the Championship Celebration enlivened the Fan Village thanks to the moved and emotional presence of Michela Moioli. It was she, Olympic bronze medalist and symbolic face of the Livigno Team, who warmed up the square, reliving the race curve after curve together with the audience, telling emotions, decisive choices and that last stretch that led her to complete her Olympic collection.

Between applause, smiles and an intense and warm participation, Michela gave herself generously: autographs, selfies, hugs, words dedicated to the youngest. A direct and sincere dialogue that transformed the celebration into something more than a party: a moment of community, where talent meets its roots and where success becomes shared heritage. At Fan Village, once again, sports became a relationship.

Closing out the day was the men’s snowboard halfpipe final, another display of verticality, daring and vision, which crowned Yuto Totsuka (JPN), followed by Scotty James (AUS) and Ryusai Yamada (JPN) on the podium, sealing another intense day of Five Circles.

And as the lights went down on the Livigno Snow Park, the idea remained etched in the memory that here winter is not observed: it is lived, celebrated, breathed.
