Parma, salvation blow in extremis with Hellas Verona. Draw between Cremonese and Genoa

In the two Serie A matches with kickoff at 3 p.m. Sunday came an important victory in the salvation key for Parma, which at 90′ past three minutes found the 2-1 goal against Hellas Verona and continued to climb in the standings, distancing the relegation zone by eight lengths and beguiling the same Scaligeri, who remain in last place, together with Pisa. At the same time, at the Zini, Cremonese and Genoa fail to overcome each other, grasping a 0-0 that moves little the ranking of the two teams, also involved in the fight not to relegate.

At the Tardini, Parma got off to a better start from the starting blocks and at 4′ was already ahead: Belghali lost the ball to Keita, the Ducali player served his teammate Bernabè who signed the 1-0 with his left foot. For the Scaligeri it gets even worse at’11’: Gift Orban goes too far with his protests, referee Pairetto does not tolerate the Nigerian’s behavior and expels him directly. Despite the inferiority, on 43′ came the equalizer signed by Harroui on a penalty kick, awarded for Circati&#8217s foul in the box on Bowie. It goes to’halftime on’1-1.

Despite the efforts of both contenders (of note was Strefezza’s crossbar for Parma at 71′), the result seemed not to change in the second half but at minute 93 came the turning point in extremis: Nicolussi-Caviglia ball to Pellegrino, the Argentine’s header beat Montipò and gave, in fact, three very important points to Carlos Cuesta’s team. In the standings, the Ducals rise to 29 points and move closer to the left side of the standings, while Hellas remains at the bottom with just 15 points.

In Cremona, however, no goals came between the Davide Nicola-coached team and the Daniele De Rossi-led team, which thus remain paired in 15th place with 24 points, just three more than third-last place. The one with the most recriminations is Cremonese, which hit the crossbar with Bonazzoli in the 94th minute: the Grigiorossi remain winless in 2026, the last success being the 2-0 win against Lecce last December 7. For the Grifone, on the other hand, it is the first point after the defeats at home to Lazio and at the Ferraris against Napoli.

Sunday on the 25th day of Serie A had seen, in the ‘lunch match’, Sassuolo’s success at home to Udinese 2-1: Solet’s goal at 10′ was answered by Laurienté at 56′ and Pinamonti two minutes later. Two other matches were played earlier: on Friday evening Milan beat Pisa 2-1 away, while on Saturday Fiorentina overcame Como by the same score at Sinigaglia, Atalanta beat Lazio 2-0 at the Stadio Olimpico, and Inter won the match of controversy against Juventus 3-2.
