At 12:30 p.m., Udinese-Sassuolo, a match valid for the 25th day of Serie A, takes the stage. The Friulians are having an excellent championship, as confirmed by the 32 points already won and a decidedly serene standings position. The neroverdi, at 29 points, are also far from the hot zone but want to redeem the 0-5 suffered against Inter’s last outing.

In terms of formations, Runjaic could rely on 3-4-2-1. Zaniolo, 100 percent fit after his recent injury, will be a starter in place of the injured Davis. More than likely the inclusion, from the first minute, of Atta (Bayo toward the bench). On the other side, no changes are expected in Grosso’s eleven with the offensive trident formed by Berardi, Pinamonti and Laurienté.

In terms of precedent, 23 challenges have been played in the top flight with eight wins for the Friulans and five for the neroverdi (10 draws). In Udine, Sassuolo’s last victory dates back to the 2017/18 season: 2-1 the final.

The likely lineups:

UDINESE (3-4-2-1):Okoye; Bertola, Kristensen, Solet; Ehizibue, Miller, Karlstrom, Zemura; Ekkelenkamp, Atta; Zaniolo. All. Runjaic

SASSUOLO (4-3-3): Muric; Walukiewicz, Idzes, Muharemovic, Doig; Thorstvedt, Lipani, Koné; Berardi, Pinamonti, Laurienté. All. Grosso
