Sassuolo expels Udine’s Bluenergy Stadium with a lightning-fast comeback in the second half. After a well-managed first half by the Bianconeri team, which went ahead thanks to Oumar Solet’s goal in the 10th minute, the match changed its face within minutes in the second half.
In the 56th minute Armand Laurienté signed the equalizer, and just two minutes later Andrea Pinamonti completed the overtake. A one-two that knocks out the Friulans, until then in control of the result.
For the neroverdi it was a heavy success in the season’s journey, a confidence boost for the Grosso-coached team, while for the bianconeri it was another setback.
In the next round, Sassuolo will face Verona, while Udinese will be awaiting the challenge against Bologna.
