The 25th day of Serie A smiles on Bologna, which breaks the long negative series (only two points collected in the last eight matches) beating Torino 2-1. The Rossoblù managed to break free and take three points against a lackadaisical Torino, which was however able to reopen the game with Nikola Vlasic’s goal in the second half.

The first half at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino had been rather balanced: the Granata lineup failed to make itself dangerous, while Bernardeschi lit up Bologna’s play without, however, finding the goal. The best chance for the guests came from Rowe, whose shot on the turn ended just wide, and it went to rest at 0-0.

In the second half, the match unlocked immediately: in the 49th minute Vlasic unluckily deflected a ball into the net for the own goal that gave Bologna the lead. However, Torino did not give up and in the 62nd minute the same Vlasic found the equalizing goal with a precise low shot from outside the box. Bologna’s reaction was not long in coming: seven minutes later, Castro turned in a handkerchief and with a great low shot signed the final 2-1.

With this victory, Bologna climbs to 33 points and regains its smile, while Torino remains stuck at 27.
