Trento condemns Grottazzolina to relegation to A2 series

The regular season of the SuperLega Credem Banca 2025/26 restarts after a two-week break and gives Itas Trentino two more precious points, hard-won but crucial for the ranking. In fact, at the BTS Arena, the Italian Champions overcame the tail-end Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina 3-2 in a comeback in the 20th round, the third-to-last before the Play Off Scudetto.

The victory confirms the Yellow-blues in third place, just behind Perugia and Verona, keeping three points ahead of the first pursuer Modena, and at the same time condemns the Marche players to relegation to Serie A2 two days in advance.
