Walter De Raffaele recounts his run under the curve

“My running under the curve? I did it often in Venice and also with Tortona. I am a sanguine person, I like to have a relationship with the audience, cheering the team. And then in these situations I charge too. Maybe I look like a moron, but I like it. And I don’t give a damn. And then let me tell you that it was also important the boost of this audience, which is wonderful”. The coach of Acqua S.Bernardo Cantù, Walter De Raffaele, started celebrating the crucial success won against Dolomiti Trento when there were still a couple of minutes left. A scene that showed how much mutual sympathy already exists between the Livorno native and the Biancoblù fans.

“I would say it was a good victory,” he added. “For 38 minutes we played with great intensity, too bad only for a few too many points conceded in the final: I got a little angry about that and told the guys. There are many good things in this success, the team is objectively growing and is trying to take everything from everyone, trying to hide the limits. There was great willingness on the part of all the players”.

“That&#8220s two wins in four games, one lost by one possession: it&#8220s a run that can give us a lot of fuel for the next nine challenges and to face this break, in which we have to take another step forward. What is not lacking, however, is work. Tonight we saw a lot of things, at the level of participation by everyone, with a great idea of sharing the ball” concluded De Raffaele.
